Some lovely feedback from the family of a resident

We've received some lovely feedback from the family of a recent resident of Ty Llandaff Care Home, who asked us to share their letter.
Just over twelve months ago my father arrived at Ty Llandaff for two weeks respite. Even though my father had always asked us to never put him in a home by the second week here he was asking if he could stay permanently.
This was undoubtedly one of the best years of my fathers life, everyone from staff, residents and their visitors made him welcome and it was more of an extended family than a care home.
We would like to thank every single member of staff for the kindness they showed to Norman not just in his treatment and nursing but every single aspect, everyone was always ready to chat and made time for conversation.
Words cannot express how much we appreciate the care and love he was given.
We would also like to thank the staff and residents for attending his funeral this is just another sign of the affection they had for him.
We returned to Ty Llandaff following the funeral to share the day with staff and residents and the buffet that the staff had laid on was excellent all family and friends commented on how welcome they were made and the standard and quality of the food.
We would just like to thank everyone involved for everyone for all they have done and making today so special.
Very best wishes
Sue and Dave Bennett
