What type of care do you offer?
At Tŷ Llandaff we provide residential, respite and 24-hour nursing care for our residents. Our experienced and dedicated team enable us to nurse those with physical disabilities, those who require end of life care, those with high dependency needs, and those who become infirm.
We also offer respite care and can offer those who wish a pamper day: clients can enjoy treatments in our Hair Salon, and join us for a delicious home-cooked lunch, afternoon tea or evening meal.
Should your care requirements change while you are with us, it’s no problem! We regularly assess the care we are providing and ensure that it is tailored to your current needs and requirements.
How will you help me to settle in?
Our experienced team are passionate about welcoming and integrating each resident to their new home, and we will take as much time as you need to settle into your new home.
Within your first 24 hours you will have met with your dedicated staff member, discussed your care plan and had a chat with Chef about what you really fancy for your dinner.
Residents are encouraged to bring personal items, such as photographs, ornaments, etc. to make your room truly your own and create a home- from- home. From the moment you arrive at Tŷ Llandaff our team will ensure that your stay will be welcoming and comfortable. We will endeavour to make your admission relaxed and informal.
Your family and friends are welcome and may remain with you while you settle into your new surroundings.
What does "All-Inclusive" really mean?
We know that the bottom line cost is important to everyone; the last thing you want is to worry about a variable weekly bill popping through the letterbox. This is why we have brought the All Inclusive concept into the Care community. Everything at Tŷ Llandaff is included in your weekly price from care packages to meals, drinks, spa treatments, haircuts, activities, trips and transport. When you add it all up we think we are competitively priced within the market.
How often are visits permitted?
Normally, there are no set visiting times at Tŷ Llandaff though we do operate 'protected mealtimes' and ask that these hours are avoided where possible as it's a great time for our residents to socialise in a relaxed environment.
Lunch Service 12.30pm- 2.00pm
Dinner Service 4.30pm- 6pm
We were delighted to receive the green light for outdoor visits, in line with recent guidance from the Welsh Government and Public Health Wales.

Can I bring my pet?
Regrettably we are unable to accommodate pets.
How will I pass the time at Tŷ Llandaff?
Various social events, entertainment and activities are organised to ensure that there is always something interesting and stimulating going on. Our Activities Coordinator will support and encourage you with any hobbies, interests and excursions. Individual therapeutic treatments can be arranged to suit your needs.
We have strong links with the local community and offer weekly services, sing-alongs and coffee mornings at the local church. We will also work alongside other homes in the local area to arrange meet ups and outings for all residents to socialise.
Birthdays are celebrated with a party and you will also receive a complimentary birthday cake. Private functions can be arranged in our private family lounge.
What is the food like?
Delicious and nutritious meals are prepared onsite by our in-house chef and catering staff using local suppliers for meat, fruit and vegetables.
Breakfast, lunch and supper are served in the main dining room; however snacks and drinks are available throughout the day. Room service is also available on request
