There was a fantastic sense of community at Ty Llandaff as we welcomed residents, families, friends, neighbours and staff to our Autumn Harvest Festival fundraiser. The event was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the season and raise funds for The Care Workers' Charity, an organisation dedicated to supporting those working in the care sector.
A Day Full of Autumn Fun
Our home was filled with laughter and activity as guests enjoyed a variety of stalls and entertainment throughout the day. From trying their luck in the raffle to browsing the Bring & Buy sale, there was something for everyone to get involved in.
Face painting added a splash of colour to the celebrations, while the relaxed and friendly atmosphere gave visitors plenty of opportunities to catch up, meet new people and enjoy the occasion together.

One of the highlights of the day was our Harvest Café, which proved especially popular with guests. Warm waffles served with autumn fruits, caramel sauce and cream were a firm favourite, alongside freshly baked treats and delicious caramelised nuts. Visitors could also enjoy a refreshing cider punch or stop by the coffee bar for a comforting drink.

Bringing Our Community Together
At Ty Llandaff Care Home, we believe that maintaining meaningful connections with family, friends and the wider community is an important part of residents' wellbeing.
Our Harvest Festival was a lovely example of this, bringing people of all ages together to share experiences and create happy memories. It was particularly rewarding to see so many members of our local community taking the time to visit and support an important cause.
Events like these help make life at Ty Llandaff engaging and fulfilling, while strengthening the relationships that mean so much to our residents.

Supporting The Care Workers' Charity
This year's fundraiser was held in support of The Care Workers' Charity, which provides valuable assistance to individuals working across the care sector.
We are proud to support a cause that recognises the dedication and contribution of care workers, who make such an important difference to people's lives every day.
A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who helped make our Autumn Harvest Festival possible. Whether you donated raffle prizes, contributed homemade bakes, volunteered your time, assisted with preparations or simply came along to enjoy the festivities, your generosity and support were greatly appreciated.
We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating the beginning of autumn with our wonderful community and look forward to welcoming everyone to more special events at Ty Llandaff in the future.
