Outdoor Areas

Our outdoor area is the ideal spot for residents to enjoy the warm weather, spend time with their loved ones, stroll around the grounds and soak up the sun during the warmer months. Our lovely grounds are the ideal place to visit for those who want to get closer to nature, relax outside or dine alfresco.

Whether residents are seasoned gardeners or simply enjoy participating in an outdoor activity, we encourage all of our residents to get involved in a variety of garden projects. There is plenty of space in our outdoor patio and courtyard areas for residents to play games with fellow residents or enjoy an afternoon tea with loved ones.

Enjoy the Outdoors, Safely

Our outdoor areas provide the perfect space for our residents to safely enjoy nature and take part in gardening activities, from potting new plants to tending those already in full bloom. Spending time in our outdoor space can be a great way to socialise, get to know like-minded people and gain the health benefits that being in nature provides. We have seen first-hand the benefits that gardening and enjoying the outdoors can have on residents, which is why whenever the weather allows, our teams go to great efforts to arrange activities that can be taken outside.

Facilities to be Enjoyed by All

We offer a variety of high-end amenities as well as a dynamic activity programme that our residents are encouraged to participate in. Because we provide our services on an all-inclusive basis, each of our residents has equal access to all of the facilities, activities, and services provided at Tŷ Llandaff Care Home, without having to worry about additional charges. So, whether residents want a glass of wine with dinner, afternoon tea, a trip into town in our chauffeur driven car, or a facial, they can do so at no extra cost.

The Benefits of Gardening

Our outdoor space is the ideal setting for reconnecting with nature by doing some potting and planting. All residents can join in with gardening no matter their health or mobility. Whether individuals are living with arthritis, Dementia or a physical mobility limitation, low-maintenance gardening is a wonderful activity that can be enjoyed by all. Our garden-based activities are a terrific way to develop ownership and independence while also providing safe opportunities to socialise with fellow residents.
