Life at Tŷ Llandaff Care Home

Tŷ Llandaff Care Home has a selection of all-inclusive amenities for residents to use at their discretion. Our facilities include multiple dining rooms, private gardens, a cinema room, arts and crafts, and a hair salon with a spa. Our facilities have been built with the intention of meeting the many interests and hobbies of our residents.

Our Activities Coordinators thoroughly enjoys creating a weekly activities schedule full of engaging social events and activities where residents can learn new skills, gain new interests and interact with others who share a similar lifestyle. A few examples of our activities include fitness sessions, painting, baking, gardening, singing and flower arranging. Residents are encouraged to join in on the activities provided, however, they are more than welcome to opt out if there is something else they’d rather do.

Although the home itself is located on a quiet residential road, residents can take a short drive into Cardiff City Centre, using our chauffeur-driven Mercedes service, free of charge. The beautiful coast is just a 15-minute drive away from the home, so if you enjoy being by the sea, Cardiff Bay offers scenic views where peaceful, leisurely walks can be experienced.

There is so much to do in Cardiff with many attractions to interest people of all ages. From cultural tours of Cardiff Castle, Llandaff Cathedral and Cardiff National Museum, you are guaranteed to learn something new following a visit. Roath Park is one of Cardiff’s most popular parks for fishing and rowing. There is a variety of horticulture, nature conservation and activities to enthral visitors.
