Life at Tŷ Llandaff Care Home

Tŷ Llandaff Care Home places residents at the heart of everything we do; from working closely with each resident and tailoring our care packages through to creating Activity Programmes where residents can enjoy a variety of activities that fill them with joy, stimulate their mind and provide opportunities to socialise. Our ethos is to provide a first-class, luxurious lifestyle and a first-class way of life to each and every one of our residents.

We place a significant focus on developing relationships between staff, residents and their families, which has allowed us to have a much deeper understanding of our residents and therefore their care needs. The moment you walk in you’ll be able to see and feel the difference. We have invested heavily in a range of superb facilities at Tŷ Llandaff, with no detail left to chance. Our accommodation has been carefully designed to meet healthcare needs and privacy needs, and is carefully decorated to the highest standards.

Our superb onsite facilities have been deliberately chosen to offer choice and variety. We have communal spaces and quiet spaces, so our residents can find an area that’s right for them at that particular time – whether it’s for an intimate chat with their family, or a social gathering with friends. We believe that Tŷ Llandaff is more than just a care home, but a community too: providing a warm, welcoming environment and a luxury lifestyle that’s both enriching and rewarding.

We are proud to offer the best facilities for our residents and are always developing our offering. Surrounding our home, sits right next door to a large Methodist Church, and close-by are a number of restaurants and recreational parks, including Romilly Park a few hundred yards away. Here at Tŷ Llandaff, we have a wonderful combination of first-class care in first-class surroundings.

An Individual-Centred Approach to Care

At Tŷ Llandaff Care Home we work hard to ensure that each of our residents enjoy a welcoming and enjoyable stay, whether it’s on a short or long-term basis. We are committed to providing the care and support tailored to each resident. We have invested in all of the latest care and access equipment, in order to provide first-class standards of healthcare. We aim to foster independence, preserve dignity and ensure quality of life for each resident. Before you or a loved one choose to make Tŷ Llandaff your home, we will have a full consultation with you on a confidential basis, to discuss your needs and requirements. This isn’t just about care needs: it’s about learning about individual likes and dislikes too. These conversations will allow us to build a personal care plan, which will then be shared with key staff.
