Tŷ Llandaff Care Home is a luxury, private care facility providing superb levels of Residential, Nursing, Respite and Dementia Care care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our home is nestled within a quiet residential area of Cardiff. Consisting of 69 tastefully decorated bedrooms, Tŷ Llandaff has been purposely-built to serve the wide range of care needs as well as cater to the interests of our residents.

Our expert team goes above and beyond to provide high-quality person-centred care to each one of our residents. Whether help is needed with simple tasks or more advanced care is required such as treating the symptom of a long-term health condition, our staff are capable of anything. Regardless of an individual’s circumstances, our aim is to improve the quality of life in a supportive and loving environment.

The care we provide is more than just meeting basic needs; we strive to look after our residents as a whole by establishing strong connections with our residents so that we can get to know them on a personal level. By understanding a residents’ likes, dislikes, abilities and disabilities, our team can develop a suitable care plan to ensure overall well-being. 

Tŷ Llandaff Care Home offers a wide range of impressive facilities for residents to use whenever suits them, which is all-inclusive in the weekly fee. The home’s facilities include attractive dining rooms, private gardens, a cinema room, a weekly activities programme and a hair salon with spa. Our in-house facilities have been created to meet the many passions and hobbies of our residents, and for them to make the most of their stay.

Our Activities Coordinators create a weekly activities schedule full of fun-filled social events and activities for residents to gain new skills and experiences. Some of the activities residents have participated in include baking, gardening, singing, dancing and flower arranging. We always encourage residents to partake in the activities that are presented to them, however, they are more than welcome to decline if there is something else they would prefer.

Just a quick drive into Cardiff City Centre, residents of Tŷ Llandaff Care Home are not far from the many shops and attractions in Cardiff. The nearest beach is also just a 15-minute drive away, so if residents enjoy taking in the coastline views, Cardiff Bay is a beautiful beach for a scenic stroll or fish and chips on a bench. 

Residents wanting to spend the day touring the city centre with friends and family or fellow residents can ride in style with our chauffeur-driven Mercedes service. Cardiff features a plethora of attractions suitable for a range of ages and interests. From tours of Cardiff Castle, Llandaff Cathedral and Cardiff National Museum, visitors are spoilt for choice during their visit.

Residential care is a type of care that is best suited for those looking to reside in a luxury environment where all household chores are taken care of, which allows residents to spend their time socialising with like-minded people and doing the things that bring the most joy to them.
