Ty Llandaff Celebrates the Platinum Jubilee in Style

We never need an excuse to throw a party at Ty Llandaff Care Home. The team sprung into action to ensure that the Platinum Jubilee was celebrated in style. Bunting and decorations were erected, and pampering was aplenty for the residents, all wanting to look their very best with a visit to the hair salon and nail treatments. Outfits were selected in preparation for the Garden Party on Friday 3 June. 

Using the garden and car park residents, relatives and team celebrated with a fantastic Garden Party enjoying an amazing buffet prepared by our talented team of Chefs, entertainment provided by a local favourite singer and Afternoon Tea with a glass of bubbly to toast her majesty. 

The sun was shining, there were so many smiley faces and it was great to have families joining us to celebrate this special occasion.

The lively entertainment prompted some residents to get up on their feet and have a boogie with staff members. It was all in all a successful day at Ty Llandaff and we look forward to hosting more summer events in the near future.
