Respite Care

Respite care is a form of short term care used to recharge from personal circumstances. Whether you’ve been caring for a loved one or need some extra time to recover from an illness or injury, you can be sure to feel great again after being waited on hand and foot and enjoy all meals being prepared by our in-house chef.

Many residents use respite as a way of trialling a care home to decide if it is the right fit in the long term. This is suitable for all types of care needs including nursing care or someone living with dementia. Respite can last from a few weeks to a few months and our care team will follow the care plan created for each resident.

We Are Here For You

Our approach to care is more than just meeting the basic needs of an individual. We endeavour to look after every resident in their entirety, making deep connections with all residents so that we can get to know them on a personal level. By learning their likes, dislikes, strengths and weaknesses we can customise a care plan for the level of care that’s required.

Searching for a care home on behalf of a loved one is not always an easy process. Deciphering which type of care is needed can also be difficult to determine. We offer our support by inviting you into our nursing home to discuss the needs of prospective residents with their family members and develop a suitable care plan.

Whether it’s residential care or a respite care service that you might need, we will advise on the right type of care in order for everyone to have peace of mind and be ready to take the next step.
